The name AKA comes from a very rare Japanese coral, because it is bright red in color and difficult to manufacture.

The PRIMITIVO variety is the best grape in SALENTO Bay. Due to its strong grape color, it requires very professional skills to make its wine into a rose color.

The grape harvest started at the end of August, when the summer heat in southern Italy was at the peak of the grapes.  The calcareous limestone soil gives the vineyard Primitivo its character.  After about 12 hours of brewing, it is then fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature.

USE

The aroma and fruity taste make it an ideal wine for summer!

This is a very versatile wine. We recommend serving it with tomato-based dishes at a temperature of 10-12 degrees or serve it toghether with TARALLI and FRISELLINE with BLACK OLIVES SPREAD.

LIRICA

VINIFICATION: Red vinification with thermoconditioning of the fermentation process (25 ° C), one week of maceration.

AGING: Minimum 6 months in large durmast barrels

ALCOHOL VOLUME: 14.5%

PROFILE: Ruby red with garnet nuances.Intense and complex smell of ripe red pulp fruits (cherry, raspberry, blackberry) in balanced fusion with hints  of  toasted wood.Dry, warm, soft, tannic, persistent; fully recalls the olfactory sensations taste.

ABOUT

LIRICA is produced from grapes harvested manually from vineyards cultivated in the Manduria area. The red vinification takes place at the end of August, after harvesting and soft destemming of the grapes, with thermoconditioning of the fermentation process in stainless steel vats. Then LIRICA follows an aging for 9 months in large barrels and finally rests in the bottle.

USAGE

The deep red color and the fruits notes makes the perfect match to EXPLORE THE SOUTH OF ITALY WITH WHO YOU LOVE THE MOST!

It is a very warm wine so we recommend to use it with warm stews, baked food , slow cooking braised dishes or , also with our special CRESCENT MOONS WITH CHOCOLATE!

Caledo (CALEIDO) is a wine with original personality, strong and distinct, able to show itself with a variety of aromas and flavors.

The NEGROAMARO vines located on the red soil of Salento on the north/west coast, coupled with traditional harvesting and production methods, can fully display the flavors from southern Italy.

USAGE

It is most suitable to open it 20minutes before service in order to open all the aromas up and paired with a great pasta and TOMATO SAUCE, salty pies, and roasted vegetables.
